Reinstalling Hope, in collaboration with the Institute of Rural Development, offers a 6-10-week Summer Internship Program in Nepal. This program provides college students with hands-on experience in nonprofit management while immersing themselves in Nepal’s rich culture, history, and natural beauty.

Program Highlights:

  • Support Organizational Operations:
    Interns will assist with essential tasks such as project coordination, outreach, communications, fundraising, logistics, and administrative work.
  • Contribute to a Meaningful Project:
    Each intern will participate in a collaborative big project that contributes to Reinstalling Hope’s long-term mission. This could involve improving educational programs, developing resource materials, or supporting community initiatives.
  • Explore Nepal:
    Interns will have the opportunity to visit rural communities, UNESCO World Heritage sites, and scenic hiking trails to gain a deeper understanding of Nepal’s cultural and social landscape.

Generally, funding up to $4 - 5k can be expected.
Interns will have the option to stay in homestays with local families or other ways whichever they feel comfortable and affordable. Usually interns stay with the host family as it offers a culturally immersive experience. The homestay includes meals and a chance to experience authentic Nepali hospitality. Before the departure, our team helps the interns to navigate the accommodation options.
Yes! The program is designed to provide interns with opportunities to explore Nepal’s rich cultural, historical, and natural landscapes. Interns will visit UNESCO sites, rural villages, and scenic hiking trails as part of the program.
