RH Mentorship Program

Program Overview

Notice: The application is already closed for the RH Mentorship Program 2024.

The RH Mentorship Program is designed to support aspiring high school seniors and graduates from Nepal in navigating the US college application process. The program focuses on offering personalized guidance in crafting compelling application essays, responding to supplemental questions, and preparing for interviews. Our aim is to help students create quality applications that significantly increase their chances of acceptance into prestigious colleges and universities.

Core Components

  1. Essay Writing and Editing
The program emphasizes the development of strong, authentic personal statements and supplemental essays. Students will receive guidance on structuring, drafting, and refining their essays to ensure they effectively convey their unique experiences, values, and aspirations.
  2. Application Review
A dedicated committee, composed of individuals who have themselves gained admission to top colleges and universities, will review each student’s application. With their extensive experience and expertise, they will provide insights into how the application is perceived by actual admissions committees.
  3. Mock Interviews
To prepare students for the interview process, the program offers mock interviews that simulate the actual experience. Feedback will be provided to help students articulate their thoughts clearly and confidently.

The Mentorship Committee

The RH Mentorship Program is led by Mr. Sadrish Acharya, a senior at Dartmouth College, along with a team of students and alumni from other renowned institutions. The committee members bring a wealth of experience in the college application process and have a proven track record of successfully mentoring students into top-tier colleges. The committee operates much like an admissions panel, evaluating essays and applications to determine their strength and alignment with the standards of institutions.

Application Process

Aspiring students will be required to fill out a comprehensive form detailing their academic, extracurricular, and personal background. This information will enable the committee to assess the applicant’s strengths, potential, and fit for the program.
